Mackenzie Gray has acted in, directed or produced hundreds of plays, reviews and Cabarets across Canada, the USA and Britain.  Mackenzie was last seen at The Arts Club in the Canadian Regional Premiere of the Broadway hit, August: Osage County.  His Arts Club performances also include, Jessie Award-winning The Black Rider. Plays include lead roles in Boxing Shakespeare, Bloody Poetry, The Rocky Horror Show, The Threepenny Opera,
Playing with Fire, The Life and Times of Mackenzie King,
The Great War, Much Ado About Nothing and The Winter’s Tale.
 
He has directed at The Stratford Festival and Canadian Stage, wrote and directed the ballet/opera The Snow Maiden at The Royal Alexandra Theatre, produced Crow’s Theatre’s Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love and has directed and produced over 25 plays.
 
Mackenzie works extensively in Film and Television, having appeared in over 130 films and TV series.  Recently, he starred as the new “Lex Luthor” in Smallville. OtherTV and film includes: The Imaginarium Of Dr. Parnassus, Shooter, Human Target, Supernatural, Psych,The Collector, Andromeda, First Wave, The Net (series lead)
So Weird, The L-Word, Twilight Zone, Cold Squad and Da Vinci’s Inquest. Mackenzie has 7 Leo Award nominations and has written, directed and scored four short films.
